Jonathan has been advising for over 25 years and is very proud of the business he has built up and the people he works with. He has a thriving client base consisting of successful individuals and companies, many of whom have become good friends.
He believes everyone should have access to proper financial advice if they want to improve their finances, and is always happy to help referrals from existing clients. Indeed this is how the vast majority of his clients have come to him, knowing they can expect the right solution, bespoke to their individual circumstances, delivered with integrity and professionalism.
He strives to give advice that is easy to understand and accessible, and wherever possible tries to reduce the ‘hassle factor’ for clients. He emphasises the personal aspect of the client-adviser relationship, which is fundamental to building the trust and empathy that secures a healthy long term relationship with clients. This often extends to helping clients' children to a good start in life, or their grandparents with later life planning, as well as everything in between!.
Jonathan is married with two teenage daughters, so feels he understands something of the financial pressures of life. He lives in the Chilterns with his wife, Caroline, where they are involved in many local activities. He is a keen fan of cricket and England and Lions rugby, which has been more enjoyable in recent years! He is also an enthusiastic golfer, striving for a level of excellence that his ability will sadly never allow!
Helen has over 30 years’ experience in financial services, starting in banking, followed by a variety of roles in the financial advice sector. This included spells in customer services and compliance, working as a fully qualified adviser in her own right before joining us in 2004 as a Paraplanner.
Her role for our clients is to implement their protection needs from start to finish, drafting their trusts* for them where necessary. She also organises the annual servicing side of things for clients, arranging annual reviews, updating information and generally ensuring our clients are properly looked after.
